The Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy held a memorable graduation ceremony for the July 2024 Executive Certificate Graduates, at the Monomotapa Hotel. The event celebrated the hard work and achievements of the graduates, who were joined by distinguished guests.

Among the attendees were H.E. Almassri Tamer of the State of Palestine to Zimbabwe, Ms. Nabulanga Ntalasha, Deputy Head of Mission of the Republic of Zambia and Mr. V.A. Chikanda, Chairperson of the Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy. The atmosphere was filled with a sense of accomplishment as graduates received their certificates, marking the end of their academic journey and the beginning of their professional diplomatic careers.

Speeches that were shared during the event, highlighted the importance of diplomacy, protocol, etiquette, and personal branding in today’s interconnected world, highlighting the need for peace in the ongoing Israeli-Gaza War and shedding light on how diplomacy is a pivotal tool at enabling peace. The graduates were congratulated for their dedication and hard work throughout the program.

As the evening came to a close, a sense of camaraderie and shared purpose filled the room. The graduates, along with their families and distinguished guests, celebrated the power of education to transform lives and promote international cooperation through diplomacy.
